Oath Keepers Rally in NH 10/14/2010

As most of you know, on Thursday 10/14/2010 there was a hearing held at the Rochester Family Division Court in Dover, NH regarding the New Hampshire DCYF action of taking a newborn child from her parents, John Irish and Stephanie Taylor. Oath Keepers held a rally outside the courthouse during the hearing in support of the right of freedom of association and freedom of speech, as well as in support of the due process rights of the parents. The reason this became such a national issue, and thus the reason we were there, is because DCYF justified its actions in part because of the father’s “association” with Oath Keepers (he had been a forum user on our free-to-the-public Ning social network). The event sparked national attention after a video was posted on Youtube of the father explaining the ordeal. In addition to Oath Keepers who traveled from as far away as North Carolina, the rally attracted several other liberty groups and individuals from the North East.

The closed court session was not attended by any of the rally participants, and the participants in the hearing are prohibited from discussing what went on, but it was clear from the smiles on the faces of the parents as they came out that they were very happy with the outcome. You can get a very good sense of the outcome from the below linked mainstream media articles and videos, so we will let those news reports speak for themselves:

And from David Codrea

“David Codrea, who also writes the Gun Rights Examiner (http://www.examiner.com/gun-rights-in-national/david-codrea), is a long-time supporter of Oath Keepers and is a very consistent and effective voice for not just the right to keep and bear arms, but for the entire range of rights protected by our Bill of Rights. His work is highly recommended reading.”

We Oath Keepers were very pleased with how the entire day went, and despite the occasional bump and minor drama, it truly was a GOOD DAY. in a followup post we will have more to say about the rally, and also about how wonderful it was to work with a very squared away Sheriff and his deputies who followed their oaths and respected the rights of the rally participants.

As for our demand to New Hampshire DCYF to remove the name of Oath Keepers from the affidavit, we have yet to receive any official confirmation that our request was honored (since this was a closed proceeding, it is hard to officially confirm whether that was done during the hearing). We hope to secure that official confirmation soon. Meanwhile, until we do get that confirmation, we will continue to research our full legal options, including a possible Section 1983 claim for violation of civil rights, or perhaps a defamation claim in state court. As I have stated from the start, if we go forward with such claims, I intend to serve as one of the named counsel, but yesterday I also spoke to a couple of excellent New Hampshire lawyers who are very interested in assisting in such a case, and this next week I will be speaking to several other highly skilled, very experienced, and nationally known constitutional law litigators from the DC area about our options. It was high time we assembled a stellar legal team of patriotic, constitutionalists lawyers anyway. Whether we actually pursue formal legal action in this case is largely now up to the employees of the state of New Hampshire — what they do or do not do will make our decision for us.

How We Can Organize to Cut the Defecit

it would be easy.

We need a referendum to force the government to get the majority of state legislators to agree to allow the federal government to borrow sums of money except in the case of severe domestic emergency in times of great economic strain.

We need a referendum to prevent the nation from going to war unless the state legislators agree to allow it.

We also need a fiscally responsible system- one in which pork and inefficiency are reduced as much as possible, and programs which work are rewarded with more money than those which are either unnecessary or wasteful.

On another note we could also do with an overhaul of our energy infrastructure, but that’s for a later video.

Hilmar Von Campe- Former Hitler Youth Whistleblower Warns Of America’s Nazi Future part-5of5

Playlsit for the full interview:

http://www.youtube.com/user/fairinfowar#grid/user/39FB9526C260E4E5

In this shocking interview available for the first time to Prison Planet.tv subscribers, former Hitler Youth member and World War Two veteran Hilmar Von Campe warns that America’s collective turn away from God is greasing the skids for the state to take over as the ultimate authority, threatening a repeat of the rise of National Socialism, as he warns that the Obama White House and the United States government in general now more closely embrace the political doctrines of the Nazis than they do those of the founding fathers. Von Campe explains how when he returned from the war he was determined to find out how the Germans, a relatively cultured and civil people before the rise of the Nazis, could have allowed a monster like Hitler to implement the Third Reich. Von Campe attributes the fall of Germany to the Nazis partly to “Godlessness,” a collapse in moral standards, and the German people acting contrary to God’s desires. Based on this revelation, he has created a formula to try and prevent countries from succumbing to tyranny in future. Von Campe explains how children were indoctrinated by the state and the education system to uphold Nazi beliefs and then spy on and inform on their parents if they didn’t follow suit, as a way of breaking up families and enforcing a single ideology. He also reveals how the Nazis insisted upon discussion about religion and God being kept out of society, in the interests of ensuring that the people could not call on a higher authority than the state and therefore were less inclined to resist the Nazi takeover. Von Campe warns that the process of taking God out of society and education, and the accelerating erosion of America’s Christian foundations bears startling similarities to how National Socialism established itself in 1930′s Germany, while chillingly pointing out that the US Senate, House and the Obama White House now more closely resembles the Nazis than it does the founding fathers. “I cannot understand how the American people can tolerate a thing like this,” says Von Campe, making reference to the over 50 million babies that have been killed through abortion in the United States, while drawing other parallels to how the US is beginning to mirror totalitarian states. The only way to change the direction America is heading, warns Von Campe, is to reject immorality and embrace “absolute moral standards, absolute honesty, absolute purity, absolute unselfishness and absolute love.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alger_Hiss

Alger Hiss (November 11, 1904 — November 15, 1996) was an American lawyer, civil servant, businessman, author, and lecturer. He was involved in the establishment of the United Nations both as a U.S. State Department and UN official. Hiss was accused of being a Soviet spy in 1948 and convicted of perjury in connection with this charge in 1950.
On August 3, 1948, Whittaker Chambers, a former Communist Party member, testified under subpoena before the House Committee on Un-American Activities (HUAC) that Hiss had secretly been a communist while in federal service, despite the fact that Chambers had previously testified under oath that Hiss had never been a communist. Called before HUAC, Hiss categorically denied the charge. When Chambers repeated his claim in a radio interview, Hiss filed a defamation lawsuit against him.
According to Salant, who had been studying the Hiss case since the early 1960s and whose requests under the Freedom of Information act had made known to the public the contents of the “pumpkin papers”, Schmahl was not an FBI plant as Hiss and his lawyers had believed but a trained Army “spy-catcher” (as they called themselves) — a special agent in the Counter Intelligence Corps (CIC).
At the Military Intelligence Training Center, CIC students like Schmahl were taught the rudiments of forgery and its detection, the matching of typed samples to the typewriter that produced them, etc. During the 1940s, domestic surveillance of civilians like Hiss by the CIC was extensive but so covert that it usually escaped notice. Undercover CIC agents who were detected were often mistaken for FBI agents, since only the Bureau was authorized to investigate civilians.

Unlike Whittaker Chambers (or the FBI), Army Military Intelligence had vast experience forging documents during World War II since every agent behind enemy lines required phony documentation to support his cover story. Moreover, with its special agent initiating the search for Hiss’s typewriter while disguised as Chief Investigator for the Hiss defense, Military Intelligence was well positioned to plant forged evidence in the right location without arousing suspicion. Thus the two reasons given by the judges for disregarding the forensic evidence of forgery assembled in the motion for a new trial, while applicable to Chambers, certainly do not apply to Military Intelligence. In the future, some of the misconduct previously attributed to the FBI by Hiss and his defenders may turn out to have been the work of Army counterintelligence.
[edit]Soviet archives
After the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, Alger Hiss petitioned General Dmitry Antonovich Volkogonov, who had become President Yeltsin’s military advisor and the overseer of all the Soviet intelligence archives, to request the release of any Soviet files on the Hiss case. Both former President Nixon and the director of his presidential library, John H. Taylor, wrote similar letters, though their full contents have not been made publicly available.
Russian archivists responded by reviewing their files, and in late 1992 reported back that they had found no evidence that Hiss had ever engaged in espionage for the Soviet Union or that he was a member of the Communist Party. However, Volkogonov subsequently declared that he had spent only two days on the search and had mainly relied on the word of KGB archivists. “What I saw gave me no basis to claim a full clarification”, he stated. Referring to Hiss’s lawyer, he added, “John Lowenthal pushed me to say things of which I was not fully convinced.” General-Lieutenant Vitaly Pavlov, who ran Soviet intelligence work in North America in the late 1930s and early 1940s for the NKVD, provided some corroboration of the initial report in his memoirs, stating that Hiss never worked for the USSR as one of his agents.
